It’s day two of the big sales weekend and I – The Independent‘s beauty writer, Lucy – have spotted some amazing Black Friday beauty deals. My top pick? The COSRX snail mucin power essence (was £23.99, now £10.40, Amazon.co.uk) is reduced by more than 50 per cent and with its soothing and firming effects, it’s far too good an offer to pass up.

Likewise, fans of Clinique won’t be disappointed with this half price bundle (was £100, now £50, Sephora.co.uk) which includes moisture surge – the best-selling hydration hero – and the cleansing superstar that is the take the day off balm.

Lastly, no Black Friday beauty haul would be complete without a touch of Olaplex’s hair magic. Thankfully, my favourite no. 3 bond repair treatment (was £28, now £16.25, Amazon.co.uk) has had its price slashed by 42 per cent. Wowza.

Easy to use, this was one of home appliance writer Zoe’s favourite coffee machines. “I liked that you can programme the machine to create the right volume for your cups,” Zoe said. “It’s also easy to clean, and while this isn’t the machine for you if you really want to geek out over grinds and extraction, this is a great choice if you want a good cup of coffee without much thought”.

While some brands, like Zara, host a sale for just one day (Black Friday itself), other retailers, such as M&S, don’t officially offer Black Friday discounts at all.
