After a weekend of madness winds down, Monday features a tamed schedule of several compelling narratives to bet amongst the NHL and NBA, plus a few CBI Tournament games in college basketball.
FanDuel Massachusetts promo code will continue as Monday players can strike $200 value if they bet $5 or more on any event or market.
In other states, the FanDuel promo code gives new customers a $1,000 no sweat first bet, meaning if their first bet loses, they’ll be refunded in bonus bets. Check out the links below to access your FanDuel Sportsbook offer.

The Florida Panthers have been on a late-season tear in their pursuit of squeaking into the playoffs. We’ll use their 7 p.m. ET tilt against the Detroit Red Wings to exemplify how you can use bonus bets at FanDuel.
The offer won’t automatically appear in your account. You must deposit and bet $5 on any sporting event to access the bonus bet.
Try reading our Massachusetts promo bonus betting guide before using their bonus bets.
The correct betting strategy is wagering on a plus-money bet to maximize your profit. You don’t keep your wager with bonus bets, which is one of several reasons why this makes sense.
So assuming you’ve placed your first bet of $5 or more at FanDuel, you’ll have $200 in your account and will be ready to use them on anything.
Panthers-Red Wings Game Preview
The gap is closing in the Eastern Conference and the Florida Panthers are making a last-minute push into the Wild Card. The Cats have won five of their last six and have averaged 4.5 goals per game in that span.
It’s been an underwhelming season to say the least for the defending Presidents Trophy-winning club in Sunrise, Florida. The Panthers now find themselves one point behind Pittsburgh for the eighth spot into the dance.
Florida has suffered from below-average goaltending: Sergei Bobrovsky sports a 3.00 goals against while Spencer Knight 3.18. The team has an overall .894 save percentage.
Beyond those issues, they have had a horrendous penalty kill operating at 74.2%, which is 27th best in the league. Matthew Tkachuk has played as advertised posting 92 points through 66 games, but there’s a big drop off in contributions from there. Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart and Aaron Ekblad have all regressed from excellent seasons last year.
The recent surge from Florida comes at the right time to play a team like Detroit, which seems to be in complete tank mode. The Red Wings have lost nine of their last eleven. Their roster is spearheaded by Dylan Larkin, who’s having a good — not great — season at 65 points.
But everything beneath him is table scraps. Steve Yzerman is still working on rebuilding this team through its transitional phase. It’s especially vulnerable at this stature in the season.
The Panthers took both previous meetings against the Red Wings this season — outscoring them 8-3.
Selecting a Bet
The puck line always gives enticing odds given that hockey is such an erratic game and it will always be set at 1.5 goals. Given the desperate motives of the Panthers and the white flags in Detroit, I like the Wings to cover it on Monday.
At +130 odds, here’s how things would look with a $100 bet in bonus bets placed on Panthers puck line:
