The hotel will be the first Autograph Collection property in Collin County and is targeted at both business travelers and local residents. Other Autograph Hotels are located in downtown Dallas, Grapevine and Fort Worth.
“Our partnership with Autograph Collection Hotels provides the opportunity to deliver a one-of-a-kind property to the residents and visitors of Frisco that will include a museum-quality art collection and world-class food and wine offerings,” Craig Hall, chairman and CEO of Hall Group, said in a statement. “Framed by views of the art-filled Kaleidoscope Park, which is currently underway, hotel guests will be able to experience Frisco not only as a business and sports hub but also as an emerging arts and culture destination.”
The new Hall Park buildings will overlook an almost six acre community park and will add restaurants and retail space to the development. Hall Group tore down smaller buildings to make way for the new construction.
The Hall Park Hotel will have an outdoor pool, a 4,000 square-foot ballroom, fitness center, restaurant and lounge and a patio overlooking park.
Irving-based Coury Hospitality will operate the hotel.
The Hall Park hotel will join a growing list of luxury accommodations in Frisco. Dallas-based Omni Hotels & Resorts operates two high-end hotels at the new PGA of America campus and at The Star.
And Frisco’s $100 million Hyatt Regency Hotel opened in 2020 at the Stonebriar Centre shopping mall.
Hall Park’s new Monarch apartment tower will have 214 units and open in the fourth quarter. Cushman & Wakefield is representing the property.
“The Monarch is a visionary project that will elevate the standard of apartment living in North Texas,” Cushman & Wakefield’s Lisa McDonnell said in a statement. “Uniquely defined by a programmed park, world class art, and a concierge-minded living experience, a luxury high-rise apartment offering of this caliber is long overdue for our growing Frisco community.”
Hall Park’s 380,000 square foot office building with 10,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter.
The Hall Park buildings and new park were designed by Dallas’ HKS, Merriman Anderson Architects, WDG Architecture and OJB Landscape Architecture. Andres Construction and Austin Commercial are general contractors on the project.
Hall Park currently includes more than 2 million square feet of office space in 15 buildings. The mixed-use project is planned to grow to include 9.5 million square feet of construction.
