Northwest Week, a spring tradition at Northwest Missouri State University, is returning for the first time since 2019.
The week-long celebration of the University and academic year begins April 3. The week is organized by the Student Activities Council (SAC) and provides social activities geared toward Northwest students.
This year’s schedule includes outdoor activities, a day to show gratitude for Northwest donors and a yoga session at Colden Pond as well as T-shirt and donut giveaways.
“It’s been so rewarding getting events planned and collaborating with other organizations,” Natasha Metzger, Student Activities Council’s Northwest traditions director and a sophomore animal science major from Papillion, Nebraska, said. “I hope students can go to a few of these events during the week to find a connection with the campus rec staff, Foster Fitness staff and even the Alumni Association. My goal by the end of the week is that students and staff find new connections with our Bearcat family and have fun.”
A complete schedule of Northwest Week activities is provided below. For more information about Northwest Week, contact SAC at 660.562.1226 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
