Telugu actors Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s Kushi is one of the most anticipated films owing to its lead pairing. Now, the makers have announced that the movie will release in theatres on September 1.
The announcement was made through the official social media handle of the film’s production house Mythri Movie Makers. Both the actors also shared the news on their respective social media accounts. The movie’s release date announcement came with a new poster, much to the excitement of fans.
The new poster shows Vijay Deverakonda standing in Kashmir and stretching out his hand towards Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is standing on the balcony of her home in a different city. The text on the poster reads, “The Two-Worlds will meet on 1 September.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the shoot of Kushi earlier this month. She received a warm welcome from Vijay Deverakonda and the rest of the team. The film’s director Shiva Nirvana had shared images of Samantha’s welcome on social media. Calling the actor a ‘fighter’, Shiva had written on Twitter, “The Fighter @Samanthaprabhu2 is back to #Kushi sets @TheDeverakonda @MythriOfficial @HeshamAWMusic musical Everything is going to be beautiful.”
On the work from, Samantha also has Shaakuntalam and Raj and DK’s Citadel in the pipeline.
